Before use, thoroughly rinse the inner liner and the body of the thermos with warm water to remove any dust or odors that may have remained from the manufacturing process. For the first use, fill the thermos with boiling water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes to preheat it. After discarding the water, refill with hot water to achieve optimal heat retention. When filling the flask, avoid overfilling it; leave about 1 cm of space to prevent hot water from spilling when tightening the lid or to avoid damaging the inner liner due to excessive pressure.
After daily use, promptly empty any remaining water from the flask and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. Important: Do not leave tea leaves, coffee grounds, or similar residues in the kettle for extended periods, as this may cause stubborn stains that are difficult to remove. When cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth and avoid steel wool or abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching the inner liner or the kettle's exterior. If there is limescale buildup on the inner walls, pour in an appropriate amount of white vinegar, dilute it, shake well, and let it sit for a while before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Do not boil the mixture.
When storing the thermos, ensure the interior is completely dry. Loosen the lid and place the thermos in a cool, well-ventilated area to prevent odors or bacterial growth caused by moisture. Additionally, take care to avoid subjecting the thermos to severe impacts or drops, as this may cause the inner liner to crack. By following these maintenance tips, your glass-lined thermos will remain in excellent condition.
